How long does it take to become addicted to nicotine?

Question by wonderfulness: How long does it take to become addicted to nicotine?
I dont really smoke cigarettes, except when im with friends that do (usually like one a month at most)… But ive spent this weekend with people who do and have smoked a pack and a half in the past two days. Could this make my body physically addicted?

absolutely- this is how I started and now I feel that was the biggest mistake of my life. I spend 50 a week on cigarrettes now…. I cannot express enough how addictive nicotine is. Please stop now because it will be MUCH harder later.
