Question by proud of it: How do you feel about the clean clinics in Van Couver and them possibly starting one in San Francisco?
In case you did not know, these clinics are going to allow heroin and cocaine addicts to shoot up the drug of their choice provided with a clean needle. Alll they have to do is show up to the clinics and a nurse will provide them the needles. The purpose of this is to cut down on the use of reusable needles obviously cutting down on the spread of diseases because it seems that a great deal of addicts end up in the emergency rooms from overdosing, and the nurses are there to prevent that from happening. Now how many of you honestly thing that any addict will care long enough to prevent themselves from dying and would want to go to these clean clinics?

Oh good, now I can OD with a CLEAN needle.
I don’t agree with that at all. If you are choosing to use drugs, then you should be willing to face any and all of the consequences of that lifestyle. Why should the taxpayers have to provide junkies with free paraphernalia?
