i was using it for shoulder pain for about 7 months taking 8 to 10 per day ..the first 3 days were hell and i finally went to detox and they started valium which doesnt help alot but does cut the anxiety..i still feel lousy with sneezing and chills ..its been about a week and a half since i stopped the norco how long will i still feel so down and unenergized ..thanks for any help

You should be over the worst in just a few weeks. Opiate addiction takes up to six weeks to recover from.
Take it easy on the Valium – you don’t want to trade one addiction for another. Withdrawals from opiates last no more than six weeks. Withdrawals from Valium can last two years.
It is easier to recover from heroin addiction, than to recover from Valium addiction. I can’t overstate how dangerous Valium is if you abuse it, or even if you take it as prescribed for a long period of time.
