Percocet addiction help?

Question by ode2green: Percocet addiction help?
I take between 40-100 mg of percocet a day. I need to quit as it is interfering with my job and relationships. What is my best way of going weaning down or going cold turkey? Also if you have advice I would appreciate it. I don’t have the time to go to rehab because of my job.

Why don’t you just come clean with your doctor and ask him/her?

There is a web site that will give you a ‘taper off’ schedule. I have helped three people trying to get of pain killers. Two were not successful, the two people OD’ed on other things when they could not get painkillers and died. Look on the internet, there is a lot of help out there. I wish you the best of Luck. Don’t give up, keep trying. Remember you only have to do it once.
