Caffeine is not a drug nor an illegal substance so there is no recognition of there being any problems with it. Caffeine replaced Cocaine in Coca-Cola. It replaced Lithium in 7-Up. So it is thought to be a benefit to the society at large to have caffeine.

Unfortunately, gregg is wrong.
Caffeine is a stimulant drug that acts on the brain and nervous system.
Gregg is right about the fact that is legal, hence there are centres which are design to help caffeine addiction.

Maybe seek advice from a local councilor or social worker in your area in order to get help with your addiction.

There are more than few coffee substitutes out there which might help you to reduce your caffeine intake and maybe get rid of your dependency in caffeine.
