Currently I am taking about 5 bars of xanax(10mg) a day and if I dont take them I go through theres weird body and mind changes… what should I do?

Please admit yourself to an inpatient treatment drug program. There they will detox you and teach you ways to live without having to use illegal drugs.

I for one understand addiction for I also had a life threatening addiction with my drug of choice and had to go to rehab. Although rehab did help a little by giving me a better understanding of addiction and how to overcome it, in the end it was me who overcame it myself. If you need xanax for your anxiety then it will be more difflcult to overcome your addiction but there are other treatments options for anxiety and xanax is highly addictive. If you do not have anxiety then ok it may be easier. You have to stop doing drugs for yourself you cannot stop for someone else you have to want help. Of course with every drug there are withdrawl effects. I once tried xanax. I knew I could never do it again bc I knew I could grow to like it. A counselor I knew at the clinic told me a story abt xanax that scared me and I’ve stayed away from it since. She referred to it as the devil drug. Reason being bc she knew a man who was one of the best looking men she’d ever seen in her life and he was a xanax popper and his addiction caused him to commit suicide. Addiction is a horrible disease and if you truely want to stop and get help then I would advise you to check into a rehab clinic. I hope I could help and it’s hard to overcome but it’s not impossible.
