Drug addiction denial ?

Question by ab: Drug addiction denial ?
My bf of a year and a half quit smoking pot altogether in February of this year bc of my urging/begging/nagging. Yesterday out of the blue he asks if he can smoke at a Halloween party we were attending. Of course I was hurt and furious. He then compared smoking to me tanning and speeding and said those things are just as bad, no . He says he still wants to do it but only doesn’t on my behalf. I’m frustrated and looking for advice. Were 25.

It’s pot. How is it bad? There’s never been a known death from marijuana. Also speeding can cause deaths and tanning can give you cancer. Especially in the eye lids being its a thin part and you have your eyes closed. So if your scared he’s gonna die young, think again.

Pot isn’t that bad. It’s not physically addictive, causes less damage than most other drugs, and you don’t get nasty withdrawal sickness from it. My fiance is addicted to heroin and is totally ruining his life. So be thankful.

ignorant kid below me- Cocaine and crack cause sickness, emotional disturbance, and withdrawal. They ARE physically addictive. And don’t try to say that psychological addiction is just as devastating. Physical addiction comes hand in hand with psychological; psychological stands on it’s own and there’s significantly more hope for the person to stop. That’s 2 against 1.
