Addiction to exercise?

Question by ?? KillerBea ??: Addiction to exercise?
I have recently started working out after being the laziest person on the planet (student!!) and I can’t get enough of it. My friends all say I should slow down or I’ll burn out as I haven’t done anything in years exercise-wise, but I can’t. As soon as I find myself twiddling my tumbs I’m either walking, jogging, doing yoga or most commonly on a crosstrainer!
Is it possible to become addicted to exercise? Is too much bad for you? I know it can be like a drug (hormone release etc) but should I try and chill ut more, or carry on as I am? I need to loose weight anyway lol
Ideas, views, and any helpfullness will be appreciated!

i dont think exercise is a bad thing to be ‘addicted’ to… think about the PE teachers…they have to be fit 24/7…

your body need time to recuperate from the exercise, normaly about twenty four hours for cardio exercises and 48 for weight training. and at least one day a week of total relaxation. other than that you can do as much as your body asks you. and as far as the drug part it is ok eventually though you will need to do more exercise to get the same level of Highness that you receive with less exercise now. but that is a good thing because it makes you work more thus allowing your body to get in better shape.
