I have a family member that I love that is obbessed with themself. They post all day everyday mundane stuff on facebook. Like, “Having a can of Campbells Chicken noodle soup for Breakfast” Or “In bed at home all snuggly warm, but saddly alone:( ”
Frankly I don’t know how to deal with this. Is there succesful results from therapy for someone that has Narcissistic Personality Disorder?
That’s what I was afraid of. No success in therapy because SHE doesn’t have a problem. I’ve noticed over the the last years she cannot keep long term friendships. And most of her family have left her to her own demise. So sad.

They don’t have Narcissistic Personality Disorder until a psychiatrist says so. They will probably get over the Facebook obsession, I once spent every waking hour playing Tetris once upon a time.

How do you know he is a Narcissistic Personality Disorder?
A true Narcissistic Personality Disorder would never ever admit that they have a problem, so they wouldn’t go into therapy.
You can not change this person, only he has the power to change himself.
