I have a horrible caffeine addiction. I have been drinking between 6 and 10 diet sodas a day for the last six years. When I drink too much soda, I get dizzy all the time, but when I attempt to stop, I feel light headed and odd. What is the best way to stop the caffeine addiction without getting terrible heaches and feeling light headed?

Just like any other addiction. You have to go through the “withdrawl” stage, mentally and physically. Then you just have to quit. One of the good things about being addicted to caffeine is you can trick your mind into thinking it is getting it by just drinking decaf.

Try to wean yourself off. As you drink less and less your body will gradually adjust to the smaller amounts of caffeine in your body.
